Location: Arenac County Michigan (lower penninsula) 9-9-18.

Size:1mm - 1.5mm

Color: Black

Habitat: Grassy area in full sun with sandy soil. Found in a small sandy open spot.

Yeah, and I've heard that they like to nest in sandy areas.

Yeah, that's me with a Pheidole sp. I had my hopes up with this one. I guess I'll keep searching. I read that MSU had confirmed them somewhere in Arenac County.
