Hi,
I’m raising my first two colonies of tetramorium ants. One colony is in a THA mini-hearth, and I’ve found two dead workers up in the outworld this week. Should I be concerned, or is there a certain amount of natural die-off going on? This colony has about 40 ants now.

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

Tetramorium nanitics and other workers I've noticed before they reach full size usually have a pretty short life span. Also, they grow super fast, so I wouldn't worry about anything happening to them in 2 deaths.
I'm slightly curious, did you take them out of the outworld? Because I've noticed mine usually eat their dead.
