I recently moved my group of 4 queen ants and over 30 workers into one of our nests. The photo below shows their first feeding this week. Excited to see how quickly this colony will grow!

The recent update shows that some members seem content and settled in their nest, while others are out hunting for rice flour beetle larvae.

They started with like 4-6 and now they have maybe 8-9 I've had them for about 6 months. They had multiple drops so yours could grow faster.

Nice I've noticed they are pretty aggressive towards intruders I thought since they we so fragile they'd not be so defensive.

had an incredible feeding session with these awesome individuals. I've got a complete video ready to share tomorrow, but for now, here's a sneak peek of the action!

Been recently feeding them pure cricket powder and wow never realized how easy it is keeping them. don't know if anyone else is using cricket powder but give it a try to non active hunters the powder has a more consistent amount of protein and my vollenhovia have been producing alot more eggs since I've switched.

where do you buy cricket powder? I’m not tempted to buy it for my apheanogaster since they are such a small colony rn

I find these 3D printed nests quite interesting, you can see the layers on the wall.

Did you make this nest yourself or buy it? Anyhow, pretty neat, saw your youtube video too.

Good luck with your colony, def post some updates / pics / videos when you can. Love reading up on it.

Appreciate the gesture, though I am a bit more into more 'Earthy' kind of nests. However, that in mind, will note you down in case I ever want to experiment.

Have a good day and good luck with the ants! :)
