Hey everybody,

I'm not sure if anyone has made a thread or poll like this before, but I've decided to make this one because I'm pretty curious about which states/provinces have the most ant farmers in them. We all know the U.S. has the most ant farmers in North America, so this isn't going to be a national census, it's just a provincial one for the states/provinces in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico (although I don't think there are too many if at all any Mexico farmers here).

 

Anyways, if you could reply and write what state/province you are in and then in brackets your country it would help a lot. <- ONLY DO THIS IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOCATION ON YOUR PROFILE OR YOUR LOCATION CONTAINS A ABBREVIATION OR A TOWN IN FRONT OF YOUR STATE/PROVINCE, we are going to count the rest manually. The search is very sensitive and won't pick you up if you have a town, city, abbreviation, or something similar in your location on your profile. Post your state/province below if you do. 

 

This census obviously isn't going to be spot on accurate because most likely only like 10% or something of Formiculture's members that don't leave their location on their profile are actually going to participate in it (unless it gets pinned), and not all of the ant farmers in North America are on Formiculture, I just thought it would be interesting just to get an idea on the stats. If you could forward this to your friends it would help as well. If you are curious about the stats and you don't want to go through the thread and count it all up I will be recording everything here.

 

If this goes well and it gets a lot of replies I may run one on the AC Forum and Discord as well. Please only vote on one platform if so.

The AntsCanada GAN page could act as a census for you if needed. Also, there's a member page with a list of every member on Formiculture where you can find their location if they choose to list it. There's also a member map, looks like a google maps page with a pin of every member that lists their location.

These are all from Formiculture looking at the members list who list the exact state name on their profile, so abbreviated names as well as things like "SoCal" will not show up in this list
