1.Location: Pottstown Pennsylvania
2.Date of Collection:August 12th 2018
3.Habitat of Collection: Suburban front yard in grass
4.Length:12 millimeters
5.Color, hue, pattern and texture: yellowish brown
6.Distinguishing characteristics: worker ants are very small and dark colored
7.Distinguishing behavior:
8.Nest description: Holes in the ground in middle of yard
9.Nuptial flight time and date: August 12th 2018 at 5 pm

Looks like a type of Lasius species. Suburban setting on a grass lawn, winged alate around Labor Day ... in PA... so probably Lasius neoniger
