This queen was caught on June 9th in Amarillo, Texas. This is my first attempt on rearing this genus and species so during my time of keeping them, I'll make a few mistakes or so.

 

 Currently she has:

   -3 Pupae

   -3 Larvae

   -10 eggs

 

She should be getting her first nanitics this week, I'm excited to see the further developments in this soon to be colony.

 This colony got finally got nanitics after about 1.5 months! They are up to 4 workers as of now. The queen has just laid a new pile of eggs which have now become larvae. there's about 2 pupae, 5 larvae and 15 eggs. After the first generation of workers, the new generations seem to go past the egg/larval stage quicker. Lots of pictures this time!

  These gals are up to 9 workers already, and looking at the brood pile, they are about to double in population! The newer workers are already pretty large compared to the first generation. They've also started to stock up on seeds as winter approaches, but they continue to produce. Not complaining.
