This season I caught 3 Camponotus queens and I am considering selling my Camponotus pennsylvanicus queen once she has her first worker. She has already got eggs (as seen in this video) and seems healthy so she will probably have workers soon. If you're interested, follow this topic so that you'll get notified as soon as she has her first worker. I usually would not make a topic for a queen who does not have workers yet but she seems quite promising and my parents do not want me keeping this species because of their infamy so they told me to either sell it or wild release it by next year (they don't want me keeping black carpenter ants but are fine with any other ants even my other Camponotus species, weird I know).

Note: if you do not live in New York state I can not legally sell to you, bummer I know.

Idk, I was thinking like 20-30 but you'd have to come get them in person; I don't want to send them through the mail, that seems cruel.

my camponotus pensylvanicus has finally got workers!!!

EDIT: I am going to be taking the camponotus pennsylvanicus off the market since I am interested in keeping them...
