1. Location (on a map) of collection: Eastern Ottawa, Ontario.
2. Date of collection: 07/25/18 at around 10:30 PM.
3. Habitat of collection: I set up a black-light outside my window and then checked on it every 20 mins.
4. Length (from head to gaster): 4-5 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: All black/brown, a few small hairs on her thorax
6. Distinguishing characteristics: At first I thought this was a wasp but I think read somewhere that the elbowed antennae confirms an ant.
7. Distinguishing behavior: This is the first ant I've caught at a black-light so I hope she has mated.

9. Nuptial flight time and date: See #2
Well my guess would be Temnothorax longispinosus but that guess doesn't seem quite right. Also, I can't tell if this is a queen or a male.
