Do you have any colonies with <50 workers?

I do, but I likely won't sell them before they reach 50 workers, just because that's the point where they really start to take off. I also price my colonies based on the number of workers relative to each other, so the smallest novos I sell will likely still be $150 regardless of worker count.

I caught a Camponotus queen in Redwood City a few years ago, March 18.  It had 2 different color progeny, some were gold and some were black.  Do you know what that might be?  I'd like to buy a queen, since I can't seem to find any more.

Received the Novo colony from Jacob and they were excellently packed and very healthy.  Would definately  do business with again.   Buy with confidence he really knows what he is doing at least from the health of the ants that I got.  Yes he charges a little more but you get a healthy thriving colony that has had all the kinks worked out and is well adapted to captivity.   As the saying goes you pay more you get more.   But if you like to get a queen with a few nanitics that might make it or might not, then this is not the vendor for you.
