Have you been stung yet.?
Keep them away from your nipples. Speaking from personal experience.

Yeah, mine also make a mess on the glass. They are also in a Fortress, but might move them to a 4 test tube setup just for visibility.

update:
I couldn't see ANYTHING! the glass on my fortress nest was all covered in poop, so i wanted to get a nest with the glass on top so i could look in. I bought a THA Labyrinth Nest. Nurbs informed me poop would be deposited on the glass nonetheless. I went to target and bought a $3 5x7 picture frame and made a second glass cover with magnets as a replacement. In the future I plan on chilling the nest and then quickly replacing the glass when i can't see in.
i have no idea how many workers there are, but there are a lot! can you count? or guess?
enjoy!
here is the old nest, before and after i transferred the colony out.

without glass
New nest and replacement glass
connected to new THA labyrinth nest.

one of the queens stayed out for too long, worker taking it back into the nest
outworld during the move, these ladies can't climb on smooth glass or plastic
inside the 5x7 nest
2/7 of the queens

little termite jrno, i didn't wait 30 days. i was in fact too weak.
update, another queen died. we have 7 queens left but also 4 nanitics!!
but I also have some unwanted guests. not sure where these little bugs came from, but I also don't have an idea as to what they are.
mites? springtails? idk but there are a lot! should i get rid of them? if yes, how?
