I'm very new to this world, I usually deal in eight-legged critters, so bare with me!

Found this lady on a sandy bike trail in Palo Duro Canyon on 7.4.18, at about noon. It rained two days prior.  I didn't get a chance to measure her, but she's a little less than a centimeter long. She still had her wings when I collected her, but she broke them off maybe half an hour after collection. She was fairly relaxed and wasn't running around a lot. I also found one more queen of this sp., but unfortunately, she was missing her abdomen  :(

Ya sorry about that. From the markings on her thorax I just assumed she was Solenopsis.
