I caught 5 queens walking on the sides of roads trying to invade host Lasius neoniger. I have 4 queens in test tube setups with pupa and a single worker for each. I also have a much larger amount of workers/pupa in a plastic container where I introduced the 5th queen to. So far they are getting along just fine.

With this one there is a dead worker because I was experimenting a little bit. Turns out they don't take interest in killing workers or dead workers.

2/5 of these queens are still alive. One is rather dark and has some white lines along her gaster which doesn't look good. The other queen's gaster is starting to expand slightly but she isn't moving much.
