Hi,

I caught these ants in late December in Johor, Malaysia and I'm looking for IDs.

Thanks in advance.  :).

All of them were caught after the recent rainstorms and a few (like the trapjaw) were just walking across my living room so I scooped them up in a pill bottle. Any additional

Welcome to this forum too!

Number 4 is a Camponotus sp. major worker, number 7 is probably a Pheidole queen, what's her size?

Number 7 looks like the other solenopsis to me, except without wings.

That statement could make a lot of ant keepers jealous. They just come to you.

Haha, it's pretty normal here in Malaysia, or any other country like Philippines or Thailand... I find most of my queens indoors as well, they just fly in due to the light.

7 appears to be Pheidole, 4 may just be a Camponotus major, instead of a queen. I do not know about the others though. Very jealous about the Odontomachus queen though! ;)

Very jealous about the Odontomachus queen though! ;)

She's a beauty isn't she? And she was just wandering in his living room.
