1. Location of collection: Split, Croatia, Adriatic coast, Marjan - @43.5135852,16.4200446,18 (how do you link a map location without the huge link being displayed?)

2. Date of collection: 1st Jul 2018.
3. Habitat of collection: Pine forest, recreational zone
4. Length : approximatelly 13mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: Shiny black
6. Distinguishing characteristics : a little protruding "collar" at the back of the neck?
7. Anything else distinctive: not to my eye.
8. Nest description : n/a. Found as a dealate
9 . Post the clearest pictures possible:

The queen has workers now!

The queen is approximately 13 mm and the workers are approximately 5 mm long.

Please help identify this lovely family ;)
