Lets get some heated debates going.

I'll start. Ant keepers should be free to keep whatever ant species, exotic or native, they want without the risk of getting fined by the law.

Why would you start a thread just to start a debate for the sake of it? The answer here is pretty obvious, they shouldn't be able to. This has already been shown to be a negative effect on the environment, such as Solenopsis invicta, Linepithema humile and more. This is more of a one sided topic.

This is a thread for multiple unpopular opinions. Not just this one. Keep it in one topic

I have known many ant keepers in the northern regions of the United States and even some in Canada who have wanted to keep exotic ants such as Solenopsis, Atta, and Odontomachus. Now these guys have raised so many of their native species that they wanted to move on to something else. Yes they got bored, yes you can hate on them for that. They are very professional people when it comes to ant keeping. They know the effects of releasing exotics into the wild. I just don't think they should be fined for keeping and raising such ants, especially if they are successful in doing so.

Yes, Argentine ants and RIFA are the worst ants in my opinion.
