Hello all!  I found my first queen ant! Does anyone know what kind she is? 
I found her in Northern California in mid July 2018.

Also while creating this post, it wouldn't let me attach the pictures. I chose the same pics in the above links to attach, (JPGs - 1.9MB) and it says "Your aren't permitted to upload this kind of file".
Is there a special way to attach files? Seems broken.

I just read the Ant Identification Template (Please read this first) thread. Oops. lol
I'm new here, I apologize for not following the format.

It is currently 19 September, 2018
Found ant queen in Folsom California in mid July 2018
Unsure of length - need to measure
Dark coloration almost black with a rich red hue.
She has been quite content in her tube. She had several super little white eggs after the first month. I didn't even know they were eggs at first.
So by mid August she had a nice little pile of eggs she would mostly stay near or over.
Sep 6th I noticed the first little worker emerge. The babies are a light red color and almost have a transparent look.
After a few days the babies darken up.
They are enjoying eating honey and blood worms, and leave everything else alone so far.

When using Imgur use the bracket img code that it provides, it will auto-embed to the post.

 

It looks like a Camponotus queen but I'm not sure what exact species.

Need measurements for a 100% confirmation, but agree with LC3. Near certain it is L. occidentale.

 

Smaller version would be L. luctuosum.

Here are some pics with a measuring tape.

 

They have moved some of the sand into their tube.

It looks like the queen is exactly 3/8 inch long. The babies look to be about 1/16 inch to 3/32 inch long.
