1. Found along pavement sidewalk near grass.

2. Found on June 25th, 2018.
3. Urban sidewalk, with some grassy patches and trees/shrubs nearby.
4. ~9mm long
5. Dark orange throughout.

7. When two queens were together in a test tube they seemed relatively "friendly".

what's wrong with it being Lasius interjectus? 

 

The fact that they require a host colony to invade which most people don't exactly have on hand at any given time.
