1: it's in the country side... Binh Lam, Loc An

2: may 15 2018

4: its length of worker is 2mm, queen is 7mm

5: the queen and worker ave dark orange from head to thorax, but black on the gaster

6: they're too small i can't see anything well

7: nothing special

8: they live everywhere

9: was early May

It looks like a species of Pheidole(Big-headed Ant) to me.


I accidentally froze all my ants

From what I've heard of, majors of Solenopsis geminata will only appear when the colony is about 2 - 3 months old, regardless of how much protein-rich foods you supply them with. And for the record, Solenopsis geminata is a biting and stinging ant, not a formic acid sprayer.

guess what, i caught 5 queens of them today, they seems to bond together very well and stay together :lll ima try to upload the image again soon
