When are you supposed to take subbarbatus out? I assumed they were 4 months with the rest of the camponotus.You're back! My Camponotus subbarbatus are doing good and have started producing again. They have around 18 workers. All of my Colobopsis died out, and I got a Trachymyrmex septentrionalis colony!

Oh, it's still cold up in Ohio, we just got a ton of snow last night. I've only taken a few myrmecines out so far. In March I take out the rest.I hibernate all of my ants for 2.5-3 months.
