I have caught 4 of these queens and I'm likely going to give all but 1 of them away. Right now all 4 of them have eggs and I have fed them a little bit to make sure they don't get too skinny. These are my favorite species of Camponotus in my area.

I would wait till they get workers before giving them away, some queens do much better than others.

I would wait till they get workers before giving them away, some queens do much better than others.

When I give them away it will be much later on. They should definitely have workers by then.

This queen has lots of small/medium larva now. I've been keeping them at 85F.

First worker arrived over night. She also has 1 more pupa and some other larva. The larva isn't developing very fast so I'll try feeding them as soon as I can.
