So, I have recently decided to add my extra Stigmatomma queen with my other colony. This is a colony of, now, 23 workers, 1 larvae, and 2 queens. I have decided that I will include every worker and queen I find of this species to make a supercolony! As you probably know, this species typically has limits of 15-20 workers per colony and so with more queens the more capacity they have to have a larger colony. So I plan to update you guys on this as often as possible. The queen has adjusted well and the colony is so far working together correctly. Stigmatomma are known to accept several queens and workers from other colonies without problems. That is how it would work. I don't suggest doing this with other species as it could lead to disastrous effects. A supercolony of Stigmatomma pallipes!! Can't wait till it gets larger!! Let me know on how you guys think this will go and your thoughts on this!

Not sure it's a supercolony, but is still just as cool!

Got any  pictures of them?

I still have this colony. Go to my newest journal for the latest update on them. They are the 19 queen colony with 200ish workers now. I'll add more pictures as updates later if my camera will work... This has been, by far, my favorite colony! Also, the soil I'm using in their box here is the same soil I've been trying to describe in my description of the soil type.
