Hello! My name is Cloud. I love pretty much all animals, but especially exotic animals, including ants. I currently have three queens, Solenopsis invicta, Solenopsis carolinensis, and Linepithema humile. I also have other pets, my indoor pets, my Green Basilisk and my Mexican Fireleg Tarantula, and my outdoor pets, a Rough Green Snake and three Eastern Box Turtles. I travel a lot and I look for ants on my travels. I have already traveled to 4 places this year, and I am going to Texas in a few weeks, and to Michigan the weekend after I come back. I am hoping to see some cool ants when I go. I also hope to get some information on a specific species from Texas, Cephalotes texanus. I hope to make some good contributions to this forum!

They are like big spiders, only bigger. You gotta be careful when messing with them, especially if you have a dangerous species.

Hookfang's just a big softie. I've had her for nearly 5 years, and she's very friendly. I did have a Chilean Rose who was a bit more aggressive however. He died of old age three years ago.
