First of all I have no idea about any of this, so pls bare with me. So I am currently using a Nikkon PK-13 27.5mm extension tube on a AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4 D lens. Is this setup okay? Is it actually good enough to take photos of ants with? Its quiet a struggle to both focus and get the right depth of field on the ants I am taking photos of both in nature on the ground and in test tubes. So basically what I am asking is am I doing somthing wrong or am I expecting too much from a extension tube. Thanks
