Looking to buy uk native ant species I live in the uk

I'm looking for someone selling native uk ant species(small colony 50-60 workers) don't mind the species.

I don't recommend that beginners buy queens. If you research techniques for finding them, you'll find that queens are too easy to find when you bother looking for them in the proper season. Start by watching for queens drowning in swimming pools on warm sunny days. That's just my opinion though. Either way, good luck!

Antkit ships to your country I believe. Not sure of their selection though.

I have to agree, finding newly mated Queens is the best option. Some suppliers are also unethical in their collecting techniques which you don't want to support with buying from them.

There's also the fact that shipping will stress your newly acquired colony.

Also I would only buy nests from antkit not live ants

Not watch them drown, Queens that have mated often lands in water, seen in many other topics and I have experienced it too, so a pool or anything with water, is a great place to look for queens.
