Hi everyone,

I just received my Micro Outworld today. i haven't had a chance to hook it all up yes, but I'm impressed with how quickly they got it to me and it appears to be a solid build. I'll update this review after i get a chance to hook it up. But for the $5 price tag it’s going to be hard to talk bad about this outworld.

By the way, there was even some kind of mix up with shipping. I got a personal email explaining what happened. The outworld still got to me over the weekend (ordered last Friday and was received mid-day Monday)

Product: http://anttopia.com/Micro-Outworld

P.S. i am in no way receiving any "kick back" or payment for this review. Just happy to share the news

So I got the outworld home and had a chance to play with it. Its nothing fancy, just a stackable box with a few holes in it. Just exactly what i wanted. the connection on the site where you obviously connect your tubing is the perfect size. Just a big larger then your run of the mill tubing, Just what i wanted. The lid has a solid wire mesh that i trust to hold my ants.

I don't really know what else to say about this product other than its exactly what you would hope it is based on the website and photos.

Once i get a few colony's to the size that will need an outworld, i will definitely be buying more of these or possibly try out the larger variety.

I've been looking for something like this. There aren't many places in North America where you can get plain, sterile outworlds with pre-drilled tubing holes. I will definitely be ordering some of these soon.

Yes, there has been pondering on bringing back the acrylic nests.   But in doing so updating the hydration used to be our ceramic and not rely on a sponge / test tube water source.   Slowly updating things, tweaking and improving.

@ParaStatic are you going to bring back your acyrilics?

I would recommend it, they are inexpensive and exactly what you would expect.
