Doing a little research on our community. It seems like the most active people on this forum are new people. Thanks

Where is the 2-to-3 year mark?!

Originally captured 6/20/2016. Have had 2 successful hibernation periods. Isn't as big as it could be. I cleaned things up yesterday, should make a journal post about it, yeah?

Haha, sorry for the typo. You should make a journal.

I have a Formica colony that I'm almost certain was a year old when I caught, which was this time last year. So it is two years old, with about 900 workers.

My youngest colony(ironically my largest) is a Crematogaster colony. It is 13 months old and has around a thousand workers.

I accidentally froze all my ants

Let me elaborate. The purpose was to see how long our members have been keeping ants, not how old their colony might be. I probably should have rephrased the question.
