My Strobe ant's (Opisthopsis Rufithorax) fifth nanitic eclosed last night, although it could be a second gen worker.

I noticed just in time to see 1-2 workers cleaning her, and she being rather clumsy and falling all over the place for a while

I actually took some video, but being in a rush, I had all the wrong settings for it.

This is the last of the pupa that did not spin a cocoon.

I fed my strobe ants(Opisthopsis Rufithorax) a cricket head and bum yesterday

Quite amusing, the queen loves the cricket head, picking it up with her front legs and munching away. After a bit a worker drags it away from her to the rubbish dump in the nest.

She later finds it and continues munching on it
