So I’m planning on creating a natural semi desert style set up and I know ants need clay in their soil to prevent tunnel collapse, my question is what kind of clay do I use/ do you guys recommend? And what soil should I use/ do you guys recommend? Also what ratio of clay to soil to sand do you guys recommend?

If your from the Southwest desert area just get dirt from your backyard. It already has lots of clay in it.

He's from Oregon, and if I was you I'd just use regular dirt or sand. I don't have access to the type of clay those desert people do, so I just stick with the originals
