So around 7pm on May 6th/2018 Camponotus herculeanus had a nuptial flight in Northern Sask. and I would assume other areas as well. Here's some "okayish" footage of it, as well as the May 7th Footage of finding a lot of queens looking for places to nest. I see queens everywhere every year, but have never found a nest of them.

I collected about 20ish Queens, I have a hard time getting them to start. They usually take 2-2.5 Months to go from finding a queen to getting first workers.
