ID - new to antkeeping, think I found a queen ?

Hi i found this ant in a field in southwestern France yesterday.

 

I'm very new to all of this and she is quite small (1cm aprox) so hard to get good pictures or see very well ... 

 

anyone able to ID with these photos ?

I don't think your ant is a queen; she looks like a Formica sp. worker.

For some reason in the first pictures it looks like a Myrmicine queen to me but in the last ones like a Camponotus worker. Maybe you can make more pictures? I hope you haven't released it yet?
