I just wanted to post this to clear things up about shipping ants within the state of Michigan, for those of you that were concerned.


"Jamie: There are no restrictions on shipping native ant species from one part of Michigan to another.

I'm interested in a queen with eggs because unfortunately the queen I have just caught will not be laying eggs for a few months, and I have a beautiful set up already ready and I cannot wait to get started! I would really like Camponotus Pennsylvanicus is you still have any available.

I live in the Livonia, Detroit area as well, so I believe you would have to ship them to me
