Tetramorium spinosum, Myrmica don’t occur that south and even so they lack any sign of an antennal scrobe. Go to the full post

1. Location of collection in my backyard at my house (Yucatan, Mexico)

2. Date of collection April 29, 2018 (it was raining the day before)
3. Habitat of collection in a house surrounded by a lot of vegetation
4. Length 5-6mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture dark red color
6. Distinguishing characteristics two petiole nodes, spines in the thorax, gaster not very large (maybe semi claustral queen?)
7. Anything else distinctive small moving, she seems to like honey
8. Nest description

9. Nuptial flight time and date April 29, 2018 in the morning (around 9am)
10 . Post the clearest pictures possible of the top, side, and face of the ant in question, and if possible, their nest and the habitat they were collected in.

Pics below. In case it's hard to ID with these pictures, I'll try to get better ones.

Thank you I guess you're completely right, they look very similar to the pics I found in internet and I also found they are present in the Yucatan peninsula.

 

This is my first Tetramorium queen, so I'll need to research how to care for her.
