yah but also another way to identify larvae is to observe one end as being bigger than the other slender end

The stripe is just due to having a full gaster, it stretches and you get the stripe, at least that's what I have been told

stripe and no stripe

Ohh, look like u right, this morning before i gave her food she don't have any strip but this evening she have it again
i will try take a pic next meal time before she eat

Btw it seems the larvae do not eat directly from the insects but the queen eats it then nourishes the larvae. Never see larvae eat insects

2 Odontomachus aciculatus

2 Polyrachis Dives

yes!! 1st pupa, i hope worker will come
current count: 2 big larva, around 5 small larva, idk how much eggs

i make a mistake today, i feed her a big fruit fly but not long enough in the freezer so still a live and make a ruckus. queen make a panic attack by spraying formic acid. I want to pull it out but the fly go to watered side do it hard to pick it. Queen move her pupa n big larva to other side so now blocked, can't pull it out. I hope they are all right.
