First ant (black)
Location: Houston-ish Texas
Date of capture: 4/24/2018
Habitat: Sidewalk near short grass
Length: 8-10mm
Color: black

Idk the rest

2nd Ant (red
Location: Same
Date of capture: same
Habitat: hiding under bark on an oak tree in my yard
Length: 12-15mm
Color: reddish

We need some better pictures of ant two for an ID.

1. Aww that’s dissapionting, but what species might it be I’m curious

2. It is a major but it was acting weird, and it bit me and not stung

That's a Camponotus probably. It has no stinger.
