I'm also a pretty serious fishkeeper along with an antkeeper and I've just set up a 20 gallon long planted tank. I put in a piece of driftwood and I got a 1" microglanis iheringi, a bumblebee catfish. I plan on adding another one, then seperating the two once they reach adulthood(the second one will also be 1" long). What fish will be compatible for tgeir size? I'm thinking about the following-

Harlequin rasboras
Various guppies, both males and females
Ghost shrimp
Various tetra species
Various danio species

I won't put all if these in, of course, but these are jist some species that I am considering. If there are any M. iheringi compatible smaller species, please let me know! Thanks!

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.
