Well I think I have one queen that is doing good enough to start a journal. I caught two queens in early June of 2015 at one of my local anting spots. Both of these two original queens are still alive, and one has some pretty large larvae of her own. In later June, I caught 16 more queens, but many of them were saved from being prey to Dorymyrmex insanus and bicolor and others. Most of these died to their wounds, and now I only have four queens from that flight remaining. (In total I have 6 queens.) Hopefully the first queen does good and the host workers will raise her brood successfully!
