Having a hard time getting this ID'd so if could get some help, would be great.

This was one of the few alates that never took of wings I caught. Still have 2 more dealates that haven't checked since putting them in a test tube setup.

 

 

Can I get an ID pls?

I am guessing it is Camponotus dumetorum from the location, color, and abundance of hairs seen on the gaster and rest of the body. The only other option as I see it is Camponotus maritimus but in chat you had said she looks different than those.

You need much much closer and clearer shots, especially of the head and scapes, to get a positive ID.

 

But know Chaney and having seen what has flown there this year and previous years, pretty sure this is a midget black C. vicinus.

Based on those images it is going to be impossible to really tell much. You better lit pictures which are in focus. Camponotus dumetorum is not an unreasonable guess though.
