What do trachy look like?

I caught a Camponotus subb tonight

She got attacked by Crematogaster and lost half a leg and most of one antenna.20210521_170815.jpg

I spent two hours hiking today and could not find any queens. Not my lucky day... I kinda imagined I'd find lots.

Blacklighting may be big tonight. It rained a lot Monday, and we have high heat and humidity.
