I found one too right now in the bath tub. I don't know how they get in there but I find them every few month. Ohh why they like shower so much :facepalm:

Let's GO!!!!!!

I stopped by the Washington Sailing Marina on a hunch, and found a dealate Lasius neoniger queen! Now my anting year is finally complete.

Crematogaster males are flying on my patio, as well, but I didn't find any queens.

Woah, there is probably no ant queen in Virginia that you can't find!

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

Well, now I need to find Trachymyrmex and Nylanderia arenivaga. Those will be my targets for 2021.

meh, less queens for today. Total number of queens caught for the past 2 days is 14.

Only saw two queens today. One got away and the other was being eaten by some assassin bug looking thing. Mostly bummed that I wasted most of my afternoon, I NEED TO GRADUATE (Trig sucks)!!!
