I found some Brachymyrmex queens, but that's about it.  :(

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

I saw four Camponotus castaneus queens and four Camponotus nearcticus queens at my blacklight last night.

My brother found a Crematogaster cf ashmeadi queen today at a gas station of all places.

Cool! didn't know they can fly this early!

 

For Crematogaster ashmeadi this is actually really late. They normally fly in January.

No one is gonna care about you bringing a native ant to another area within its native range.

 

At least I hope they don't...

I doubt anything even from Virginia could fly in January.

I so far I got 1 camponotus castaneus, a whole bunch of tetramorium queens, a couple of brachymyrmex and 5 what I believe are pheidole.

First 2 pics are what I believe are pheidole. 3rd pic is castaneus I think. And the last 2 pics are tetramorium males and queens.

Nice! Those Pheidole are Ph. bicarinata, and only two of those Tetras are queens. That is one beautiful castaneus queen, btw.

Yes I know only 2 are queens, but I have about 15 actual queens. They seem to be easy to determine by head size. Lol. Thank you!!! I also forgot to post the brachymyrmex. I have only got 3 queens of these. So here is a pic of her.

Brachymyrmex are polygynous, you know.
