Hello, glad to present you new line of our ant farms in 2018.
First, I'll list all the models, and then I'll tell you about the design features.

Nest is made of acrylic 3 mm thick and also has a 6 mm thick gypsum plate.
For autonomic humidify there are 2 test-tubes with outside diameter 16 mm and length 150 mm.
The 50 ml test-tubes volume allows to achieve an autonomic maintenance of humidity level within 10-14 days.
For transportation of moisture from the moistening tubes to the gypsum plate is provided a hydrogel in the humidification chamber, which serves as a barrier for excessive moistening, as well as a buffer that retains moisture with a lack of moisture.
The total volume of the nest chambers is 335 cm3.
Nest's space is divided by partitions into 12 independent compartments, which provides fine tuning of the nest when the residential space of the young colony expands.
Nest dimensions: 230 x 130 x 30 mm.
To combine the nests with each other, as well as to connect the arena, the nest is equipped with 6 holes with inside diameter 12 mm.
This nest is suitable for almost all species except Atta/Acromyrmex (Leaf ants) and Oecophylla (Weaver ants).
Maximum number of colony with the average size of individuals and filling 70% of the nest:
- 4 mm: ~ 15000 pcs;
- 8 mm: ~ 4500 pcs;
- 15 mm: ~ 550 pcs.
Red film, enclosing ants from such an irritating factor as light, is made with technological cutouts to fit closely to the viewing glass of the front wall of the nest.
As you know, ants do not like all sorts of cracks and constantly try to close them with "garbage" caught by the hand. We pay special attention to this moment, and therefore in this model we moved the ventilation holes to the places where the ribs of the nest and the sight glass fit.
All elements of the arena are made of transparent acrylic 3 mm thick.
Nodes of fastening parts to each other in all models of 2018 were made using transparent acrylic screws, this allowed to achieve "airiness" of the structure without sacrificing strength.

Arena X8 Large
Overall dimensions of arena: 340 х 230 х 130 mm.
For the convenience of maintenance arena is equipped with two covers 160 x 120 mm.
If there is a need to expand the arena space and also to connect the nests on the side walls are provided 12 holes with inside diameter 12 mm.
Arena X8 Medium
Overall dimensions of arena: 230 х 190 х 130 mm. The cover of the arena has dimensions of 160 x 120 mm.
If there is a need to expand the arena space and also to connect the nests on the side walls are provided 7 holes with inside diameter 12 mm.
Arena X8 Small
Overall dimensions of arena: 230 х 160 х 80 mm. The cover of the arena has dimensions of 160 x 120 mm.
If there is a need to expand the arena space and also to connect the nests on the side walls are provided 2 holes with inside diameter 12 mm.
