I’m wondering if some people can give me tips and tricks to catching queen ants, there flying around right now when I’m typing, also does anybody know any queen ant traps

Hey! Another fellow oregonian! Not enough of us around.

I just caught one around 30 minutes ago while they were flying. I just walked around and waited till I saw one that had landed and nabbed it with some Tupperware (what I had with me at the time) and then transferred it into a test tube when I got home. Just make sure it's not right next to the entrance of an ant hill, as it likely hasn't mated. Good luck!
