How to prevent wild ant colonies from atacking your colony

So i recently moved my 2 ant colonies  in my kitchen on a custom build shelf and i had them in my room where there are no wild ants but in my kitchen sometimes ants or spiders enter in and out any way i can prevent them from maybe atacking my colony in the future?(i moved them cause i had no space)

 

Colonies: Messor Barbarus And Lasius niger both very new colonies with few workers

You patch up the holes in your house that are letting ants and spiders enter in&out willy nilly! How can you go to bed at night when you've got insects comin' and going as they please?!!?!

Put barrier on the outside [as well as the inside] of your formicariums/ foraging areas. This would prevent both escapees and other ants from getting in, make sure to re-apply it every now and then.
