I made this formicarium for nekoian since he had a rough start to the hobby. It is for his Camponotus colony. I didn't "perfect it" and plan on reworking some stuff out in the future, but he liked it and I thought it looked "ok." What do you all think? There is some loose dust at the bottom of the nest that I did clean out. Caution! Crumby pictures.

I'd rather have the $180.

I like the design, not the chamber shaping though.

 As would I.

Same, I didn't like that either. I'll change that on future ones.

Not bad. It far exceeds my efforts. Refine it and make it better. However, I think you will be making some excellent ones in the future.

I've been trying to make something like this for my camponotus coloniss as well it looks very nice but I find that the chamber structure is always the hardest part.

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.

first glance, it looked like my basement's toilet, but it looks nice.

Might want to get your toilet fixed.

This looks really good but like the others said, the chamber is a bit messy.

How did you make the chambers part? Did you lay it on its side and pour or did you make a mold? I'm curious because that's the part with the lid and yours is sloping down.

Looks good, i like it. I will be getting into making small and compact formicaria soon, because i will need them for when my colony will row to a quite big size. I don't have much space so small and compact is the way to go.
