1. Location (on a map) of collection: bandung, indonesia

2. Date of collection: 03/18/18
3. Habitat of collection: forest
4. Length (from head to gaster): around 5 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: black, orange antena
6. Distinguishing characteristics: 2 small round nodule
7. Distinguishing behavior:

my guess its tetraponera but idk its sp. idk it is queen or drone. even at 1st I'm not sure is it an ant.

Yep, be careful while feeding her though, their stings pack quite a punch.

Not even honey yet. Feed her small, soft-bodied arthropods.

 

i tried to give her fruit fly, it seen she ignoring it

With Pseudomyrmex (a similar genus), I would start out with honey. Continue this diet for a couple days. Give her a drinking straw (with a dampened cotton ball at one end that you should repeatedly moisten) to nest in. After she settles in the straw, put the straw in an outworld with a few live termites or dead small crickets.

Twig nesting ants like very thin spaces, so I'd say that the average test tube is way too wide.

 

(the diameter of the nest should be 1/2 the length of the queen.
