I need some help identifying a queen ant I caught in Mid September, I found her whilst playing tennis at a YMCA. It was in a forest, near to a lake. She is 8.2mm long and black in colour, and her abdomen has 3 paper-thin stripes of a caramel-brown colour. She has one small petiole node thorax is very dome-like and is very active compared to my other queen ants. She has had no workers since I caught her and hibernated her. She takes care of her brood and does lay eggs. I caught her around 3:30 pm EST. She is much larger than my tetramorium queens and has a semi-circular head. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
