I was looking around outside the other day and happened to find two small queen ants. I initially thought they were winter ants but they didn't fit the body shape of that species. Anyway, today when I was checking on them I noticed the characteristic lemon/citronella smell from the queens. So now I have two parasitic queens without a colony for them to parasitize. Which leads me to my offer. I'd like to either sell my queens to someone with a suitable host colony at 10 USD each or possibly buy a host colony from one of you.

Just saying, all they need is brood, not a colony. That will save the life of the other queen, and brood might cost less as well.

Or actually if still available I’m interested in buying both of them, once again I’m in Long Island my and am aware that the transportation of queens across state borders is illegal so if you are in New York please let me know. Thanks
