I caught her on Mar. 13, 2018 at Guadeloupe State Park(in Texas) in a slightly wooded and aired, dry area on a scrap piece of wood at about 5 P.M. I can't give a measurement, but she is definitely the same size as my Camponotus pennsylvanicus. queen. She has a black head and gaster with a red thorax. She is definitely Camponotus. She could be Camponotus Texanus.
