I came across this amusing video -
Where after a test tube change, a Messor barbarus nanitic wanders back to the old test tube and the queen hastily fetches it, carrying it back in her jaws

I wish all my queens were this lively!
In my test tube changes, it's the other way around, the workers have to prod and scold the queen to move, and she moves so slowly and sometimes turns back....
Even the scenes after this, show the queen and workers cheerful living in the test tube.
Not something I see in my ants so far, they all sit bunched up against the cotton and hardly move.
