I'm guessing i should just dispute my order on paypal now?
Hopefully you did not pay "friends and family" if you did the money is likely gone for good.

There's no excuse for continuing to take orders when you have no intention of fulfilling them.
Sure there is, if you are a scammer and a thief.

The fact he keeps taking money proves he is a scammer. I mean it's obvious he has no intent to deliver.

Since that is the case I would start the dispute immediately and do not drop the dispute until you have your money back. If you drop it because he makes promises to pay you will not be able to reopen it.

This is exactly right, and something that many people only learn the hard way.

Hmm, I should open an ant store in the Darknet targeting US ant keepers who want to get some sweet African and Asian ants. But I fear I'll end up in Guantanamo Bay sooner then I might think...

My bank refused to refund me. Says they were provided documentation saying it is a valid transaction, and if I want anything, I will need to work with the merchant. I'm going to try and contact PayPal via email and see if that gets me anywhere different.

I think PayPal provides some type of buyers protection. If the merchant can't prove that he send you something you should get your money back. That's why really smart scammers will send you a package filled with some cheap other stuff which will have round about the same weight than the stuff you expected, then you'll have a hard time to get your money back...

Frequently as long as something was sent then paypal will not refund, it is always a good idea to video when you unpack.

The biggest surprise of this entire thread is how familiar gcsnelling seems to be with the procedures for dealing with fraudulent online transactions.

LOL, I spend a lot of time reading over at http://www.faunaclas...isplay.php?f=13, many of the threads regarding scammers can be very entertaining but massively informative as well.

Buyers almost always win when it comes to a PayPal dispute.

Provided the buyer doesn't do a few stupid things.
